- Current challenges in repair process chains are e.g. the high amount of manual preparation, lack of automated CAD-Part generation, AM-toolpath- planning and high cost for inspection.
Objective
- Concept of an automated digital and physical repair process chain for different use cases.
- Design of assessment method for used components.
- Identification of improvement opportunities for suppliers (e.g. machine tool manufacturers, metrology specialists).
