How reliable are the results achieved from quality inspection driven by manufacturing data?

 

Challenge and Motivation

  • By analyzing high-frequency machine and sensor data it is possible to evaluate the product quality (Project 4.2 2020).
  • Data analyses are always affected by uncertainties which must be known exactly for the validation and certification of a measurement system.

Objective

  • Demonstration of possibilities for uncertainty quantification.
  • Uncertainty quantification for the data driven quality inspection to enable target oriented inspection.
